I recently purchased this CD and haven’t been able to stop listening since. The music is so beautiful that often tears come to my eyes. Imagine my thrill when I realized that Einoudi is the pianist for many pieces that I often adored from previous musical compilations, all the while unaware who the composer was. This CD has all my favorites and more!

I see that everything this man produces gets rave reviews. But I’m just not feeling it. Sorry. This is my review and I don’t get out of it what others appear to. My fifteen year old daughter will listen to this album all evening and she loves it, so does my wife. They never get tired of it.
But to me, much of his music is same old same old. It’s like I have been listening to the same rumbling phrases all night and they just go on and on, never changing or getting anywhere. For me Steve Reich does a much better job of this repetitive stuff.
I recently saw him in concert in San Francisco, the audience loved him. I feel like some self indulgent guy with a piano amused himself for more than an hour, at my expense, while I was waiting for a pianist to come and play music instead.
Not my thing.

What a great buy! A friend from Italy first introduced me to Einaudi’s music and I instantly fell in love. Perfect for contemplating and relaxing at home or for entertaining company. Great collection and among my very favorietes. I highly recommend it.

My item came just when they said, it came well packaged so it didn’t break. I was really happy with the sound, I was worried with it being an import that the quaility wouldn’t be great but I am very happy and can’t wait to shop for more overseas composers and artists from them.

His music is beautiful, it’s mellifluous and it leaves you breathless, I highly recommend it and play it regularly for my baby girl at night before she sleeps.
It’s nice to hear classical music from a newly discovered (in the USA) artist. I can not pick a favorite track as they are all beautiful. The thread that connects all of them is a serenity that wraps itself around you as you listen to each piece.
Enjoy!
